A lot of newer style wheels don’t seem to work for older cars, but man, that looks great.

I’m super picky about wheel choices on my car. I’m not keen on using Corvette wheels either.
My favorites but they don’t fit anymore are the Speedline Mistral 6's.

CAM-C on this one. I’m gonna guess I’d have to run in something above SM if I wanted to play with Hoosiers or other stickier compounds. Car has way too many mods to be legal in some of the other classes lol.

That looks like quite a lot of brake rotor. Are there plans to do something more than autocross with this?

Closest road course is a drive halfway across Texas, but I’d like to go do some TT events that have been cropping up.
There are plans on a turbo setup and would like to go see what the car can do in the 1/2 and standing mile, but that’s uncharted territory for me.

Yeah, I’ve never quite understood that aspect of your build. Then again, the Chevrolet factory team won CAM-C with turbo-4 Camaros last year, so power isn’t usually the issue at AutoX. My Miata make like 130 hp on a good day, and I only lost to cars on slicks and a Viper last time out.

Really never built it for a specific class. I was just having fun building the car.
We haven’t had a very strong SCCA presence in the area on top of that with most of their events happening 2-3 hours away every weekend.
The 1LE car was pretty well developed, and they were cooking turbos quite a bit IIRC so they were pushing the limits pretty well especially with the ag
gressive
launch control profile they were running.
I know I need way more seat time overall, that would be my biggest goal right now
